If you fly directly into Albany, there are a couple of options for getting from Albany's airport to Lake George:
Rent a car at the Albany airport and drive one hour north to the Lake.
Take the Trailways bus line from Albany airport or Albany city to the village of Lake George (2 hour ride, $15). There are four daily departures. Call them for departure times, as it’s not easy to figure out from the website (800) 776-7548.
